Instructions:

(1) All questions are compulsory. Marks are indicated against each question.


(ii) Please check that the question paper contains total 12 question and the No. of printed papers is 04. Please write the question no. properly before giving your answer. 1/4


(iii) When the first bell rings, the question paper will be distributed and you should go through it properly. After 15 minutes, at the second bell you will start writing your answers.


(iv) This question paper is divided into four sections. Section-A, B, C & D. Marks are indicated against each question.


SECTION-A (READING)


Read the following passage carefully and answer the questions given below:      (12)


Life is not a bed of roses, but a bed of thorns. It is full of dangers and difficulties. We have to overcome, if we want to succeed in life. In the race of life, we should not be afraid of the risk. Success in any work in life goes to those persons who welcomes risk. Science would not have made such wonderful achievements, if our scientists had not risked their lives and comforts. The more difficult a work is, the harder should be our efforts to perform it. Life is not a smooth sailing. Petty difficulties frighten a weak heart who is not prepared to take a risk. But brave hearts achieve fame and honour because they enjoy taking risks. In short, risk brings not prepared to take a risk. But brave hearts achieve fame and honour because they enjoy taking risks. In short, risk brings success and work miracles.

अनुशासन ही जीवन का सार है। अनुशासन न हो तो जीवन रूपी गाड़ी पटरी से उतर जाती हैं यदि सभी लोग सड़क पर चलते समय अपने अपने नियम का पालन करने लगे और सड़क पर किसी भी तरफ गाड़ी चलाने लगें तो पूरी अव्यवस्था फैल जायेगी। नियमों का पालन करते हुए अनुशासित जीवन व्यतीत करके ही हम देश और समाज की उन्नति में सहायक हो सकते हैं। जीवन के किसी भी क्षेत्र में अनुशासन के बल पर ही हम आगे बढ़ सकते हैं। अनुशासन हमें लक्ष्य तक पहुँचा सकता है।
